The mission of Oconee County Emergency Services Department is to effectively plan for, and mitigate any emergency situation or disaster to which we are called, and reduce the physical, emotional, and financial impacts associated with emergency situations. We will accomplish this mission through prevention, education, aggressive training in and effective delivery of fire suppression, medical services, rescue skills, and other related emergency as well as non-emergency activities. We will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all of the necessary resources at our command to provide a level of service that will be deemed excellent by the residents, visitors, and stakeholders of Oconee County by following our core values of DUTY, HONOR, and PRIDE.

The Oconee County Emergency Services (OCES) office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. OCES is physically located in the basement of the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center.
